A new record of Graphis (Lichenized Ascomycota) from India

A collection from Darjeeling district in West Bengal state was identified as Graphis ruiziana  (Fée) A. Massal. This lichen species is recorded for the first time from India. Detailed description,  illustration and relevant notes are provided.

PLANT SCIENCE RESEARCH

The “Plant Science Research” (formerly “Journal of Orissa Botanical Society”), the official journal of the Orissa Botanical Society, is a peer-reviewed scientific journal publishing research articles in the field of botany, biodiversity, plant biotechnology and other aspects of plant sciences.
